395 ACRES MOUNTAIN PROPERTY WITH RIVERSIDE IN SIERPE, OSA

Located in Sierpe of Osa region, the district occupies the northern end of the Osa Peninsula,  one of the main ones being the Sierpe River, which gives rise to the name of the district.

The small town of Sierpe is located about 30 km from the Pacific Ocean along the Sierpe River, just 15 km south of Palmar Sur and 10 km southwest of the Interamerican Highway.

Sierpe is the main access for those who wish to go to Corcovado National Park or Caño Island.

It is also the gateway to one of the largest mangrove reserves in Latin America. The Térraba-Sierpe National Wetland, with an area of approximately 14,637 ha, is located where the mouths of the Sierpe and Térraba rivers meet and contains some of the most diverse flora and fauna habitats in the world.

The area is also well known internationally for its archeological findings of stone spheres in the Diquís or Sierpe Valley.

This massive piece of land it is currently full of forest and to access a creek must be crossed, a walking trail was created that crosses through the middle of the property where you can see different types of trees, plants, animals and insects.

On the edges of the property you can find at different points 5 water springs and 5 swimming holes that are active throughout the year.
